This month, CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center will be launching a new education series called Wellbeing 360. This ongoing series of seminars, lectures, cooking demos, and more, will be offered exclusively for members and friends of the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. Our first event, scheduled for October 17 from 5:30-7pm, is in celebration of Women’s Health Month.

5:30-6:15pm Nanette Santoro, MD presents “How to Avoid a Hormone Hijacking!” with Q+A to follow

6:15-7pm Casual Dinner (provided by California Wrap Runner) and Networking

Nanette Santoro, MD will discuss how women of all ages (and their partners) can recognize, understand and predict pre- and early menopausal transitions, and appreciate how changes in hormones, symptoms and aging interact to produce changes in metabolism. Discussion topics will include sleep, hot flashes, mood, exercise and mindfulness and Dr. Santoro will provide insights on how to assemble a tool kit and resources to help you fight back and thrive! Seating is extremely limited for this intimate engagement.
