Wellness is the foundation of everything we do

The Anschutz Health and Wellness Center is a hub of wellness, open to all students, staff and visitors of the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. The center is home to a state-of-the-art fitness center; the CU Wellness Clinic; nutrition and caregiving programs; as well as transformative research studies in the areas of physical activity, nutrition and mental well-being. Our multi-disciplinary team of trainers and top researchers work side by side with clinicians and staff to develop and deliver programs that provide whole-person wellness support and guidance.

Want to be a part of our community? Here are some ways to get involved:

  • Fitness Center – our 30,000-square foot fitness center offers a state-of-the-art experience with TechnogymTM equipment, StagesTMstudio bikes, an indoor running track, FIT Lab, a therapy pool and hot tub, steam rooms, saunas and a green roof. We offer over 45 weekly group exercise classes, both in person and live streamed; a range of personal training options; specialty workshops; complimentary cooking demonstrations; and member rates on massage services. Discounted membership rates apply for CU Anschutz Medical Campus students, staff and community members.
  • CU Wellness Clinic – a CU Medicine clinic, the CU Wellness Clinic is located on the center’s second floor. Specializing in multi-disciplinary weight management and behavior health, services include physician-directed weight loss; evidence-based weight loss programs; nutrition consultations with registered dietitians; mental well-being and behavioral health services; and body composition and metabolism assessments and testing.
  • Cooking Classes – From our home to yours! Join our registered dietitians every other Tuesday as we guide you through recipe hacks, how to use pantry staples and the latest in nutrition research. Classes are $6 (complimentary for fitness center members and clinic patients).
  • Research Studies – Help yourself while helping others by participating in one of our many research studies. Our research is generally focused on weight loss, metabolism, physical activity and nutrition. Select a topic that interests you, see what’s involved in the study and find out if you qualify.
