CXWORX is now Les Mills CORE

Your favorite core workout, CXWORX™, is now LES MILLS CORE™. Les Mills, Anschutz Health and Wellness Center’s group fitness partner, announced the name change earlier this year in hopes of “more accurately reflecting the workout.” You can now experience LES MILLS CORE as a 45-minute class option, in addition to the existing 30-minute version.

What is LES MILLS CORE?

LES MILLS CORE is the ultimate scientific core workout for incredible core definition and sports performance. A 30 or 45-minute integrated core workout inspired by elite athletic training principles, LES MILLS CORE builds strength, stability, and endurance in the muscles that support your core, including the abdominals, glutes, and back, which assists with balance and injury prevention. Your AHWC GEX instructor will coach you through correct technique as you work with resistance bands and weight plates, as well as body exercises such as crunches and hovers. Classes also include hip, butt, and lower back exercises to improve your overall athletic performance! You’ll notice the difference!

Just getting started?

LES MILLS CORE offers options and different levels of intensity, so it’s challenging but achievable for your own level of fitness. All you need are comfortable workout clothes, supportive shoes, and a water bottle. We recommend two times a week for three weeks before you start to see and feel results!

This month, LES MILLS CORE is available three times a week (in person or virtual):

Mondays at 11:15am with Trevor (30 mins)
Tuesdays at 5:30pm with Trevor (45 mins)
Fridays at 12:00pm with Karen B. (30 mins)
